The playful colors of the interior and the decorative cupcakes just lure you into here. However, when I saw leftover cupcakes on someone’s plate, I should of known better and ran away. I thought, Korean girls they just don’t eat much, that’s all. Nope, it was too cute to be true! Like mother said, don’t judge a book by its cover.
The cupcakes were not moist at all, a HUGE sin. I mean even if a sweet isn’t that great I still finish it, but I DIDN’T even finish one cupcake. That says a lot right there. Case closed!
Their deceitful cupcakes
Whipped Cream Cupcake – Mint Condition 4,500 won
This whipped cream cupcake was really just whipped cream with some mint flavor. I could of even done this at home. Tasted very fluffy, airy and just weird to me, but the mint chocolate chips were yummy though.
Butter Cream Cupcake – Cookie and Cream 4,500 won
Very cookie and creamish and yummy frosting, but failed because the vanilla cake was bland and dry. Would of tasted much better if they switched to chocolate cake, but wouldn’t have solved their issue of needing moist cakes.
Butter Cream Cupcake – Funky Berry 4,500 won
No wonder it was called Funky because I couldn’t even figured out what kind of “berry” or mixed “berries” this was. It was just insanely sweet and made me confused.
What I left behind! I hope I never have to do this again in my life.
Cupcakes are to America what Hello Kitty has been to Japan. They've taken over the nation! Everyone's talking about cupcakes. People are quitting their jobs in medicine and nuclear physics to start their own cupcake bakeries. What is GOING on? Okay, end-rant. The pictures were great. I'm tempted, so one of these days, I'll put on my fake mustache, go out and join the masses for a cupcake.
I was also so excited by the cupcakes and then so disappointed by their dryness! >.< Have you tried Manoffin Muffins? They taste moist and fantastic, and in our Hyundai department store they sell them side by side! As a bonus the muffins are cheaper and tastier! ^.~ My favorite is the dark chocolate muffin topped with a little puff of meringue!
