A nice Italian joint to go to if you're in the Fashion Island area. The night I went to Canaletto, the service was really great. Not only were the servers super friendly, but also their helpers.
The first thing that gets judged is always the bread. Let's face it, without great bread equals a huge disappointment and experience for me. The verdict for Canaletto, oh I am soo taking a doggie bag home. Their bread is deliciously warm and they offer three varieties too: wheat, olive, and white *drool*

Roasted yellow and purple organic beets, wild arugula, asiago cheese, toasted walnuts, red win and lemon vinaigrettes
Not a huge beets fans, but not bad. I love how they use arugula. Mmmmm~
Subioti al Pomodoro $14.59
Wide pasta tubes with chopped tomatoes, marinara sauce, fresh basil, extra-virgin olive oil
Not a huge fan of spaghetti, but I am for this! Very simple and light dish.
Filante $15.99
Risotto with tomatoes, wild arugula, onions, garlic, Parmigiano-Reggiano and fresh mozzerella
OMG, my favorite!! Not too crazy for risotto, but Filante I would scream for seconds if they didn't give so much to me the first time around. I love how they add the fresh mozzarella and arugula to it. So delicious and fulling. Will be back for some more.
Tiramisu $7.99
Can't leave without some tiramisu, my fav! A nice combo of all four elements.
