Las Vegas: Tableau

Tableau
Wynn Las Vegas
3131 Las Vegas Blvd South
Las Vegas, NV 89109
(702) 770-3330

I know everyone raves about buffets in Vegas, but seriously. Over-rated and so over it. But sadly, I still go quite a bit because I have friends who are so stubborn. If I could choose though, then I would rather spend my $25-$40 bucks towards a meal at Tableau. Everything there was delicious and you might expect snooty servers, but not at Tableau. They were very approachable and friendly, so a big plus there.

Since it was the weekend, they only do brunch and not breakfast. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to choose from a wider breakfast selection, but luckily everything turned out okay because they let you substitute any item you like with something else. So no Soup Nazi here :P

Homemade Almond and Cashew Nut Granola
$12
Organic sheep's milk yogurt and strawberries

We weren't sure if we wanted an appetizer, but my friend was really pushing for the granola which I thought would be nothing really impressive. Boy, was I wrong and so glad that he ordered it anyways. It was the best and what made it the best was the organic sheep's milk yogurt. It was worth every penny. Moreover, they split the order for us to make it easier for us to dine. Now that's what I'm talking about.

Old Bay Fries $6

No, Heinz Ketchup here. They straight up make their own ketchup. Delish!

Omelette $17
Roasted asparagus, roasted peppers, mushrooms (instead of prosciutto), manchego cheese, served with toast and potatoes

My friend said his omelet was perfect. Normally he puts hot sauce, but not this time. Everything tasted so fresh, that he didn't want to ruin it. I had a bite and agreed too. Also, their potato was like a big, yummy tater tot. I know, Napoleon would approve and stick these in his pockets in a heart beat. And if anyone tried to smash these tots, I would so kick their butt unlike Napoleon.

Toast was served with homemade plum jam, butter, and apricot jam. Mmmm...the plum jam was my favorite. I would pick it over strawberry jam any day. Sadly, the apricot jam was not very flavorful. But still pretty impressed by Tableau. I'm starting to think they have too much time on their hands hah :P

White Chocolate and Orange French Toast
$16
Organic orange blossom honey butter served with pure maple syrup

Man, this is probably one of the thickest french toast I have had. It was pretty fulfilling. Also, I liked how it didn't have chucks of white chocolate in it, but was infused within evenly. Very nice balance.

Hmmm...maybe now you might want to join me at Tableau instead of the buffets? :P

Tableau is located inside the Wynn by the Towers Suite Lobby.
