Here's another super yummy taco stand, El Poblano. They have homemade corn tortillas freshly made right in front of you. Their specialty is tacos al pastor, tacos de carne asada, and tortas. Once again, far from the boardwalk, but well worth the detour.

Tacos Al Pastor (Shawarma Spit Grilled Pork) 13 pesos/each
Do you know why they put the pineapple on top of the meat? The pineapple's juice has an enzyme called bromelain that breaks down protein to make the meat very tender. Which is why so many people love these juicy, tender tacos. So, you know this place is legit. It has one on top and on bottom^^
Quesadilla 13 pesos
I asked them to put in beans, onions, cilantro, and guacamole. Yum, yum!
Torta (Mexican Sandwich) 15 pesos
Served with cheese instead of meat and beans, guacamole, cheese, cilantro, onions
Very delicious! The bread was thick and perfectly toasted (well kind of, the top was a bit burnt because he was waiting for my cheese to melt). I can't image having a cold torta after eating this. RAWR!
