I've been wanting to go to this place for quite some time now and finally rounded up my friend, Yuri to go with me. Once you enter, there is a huge display case of treats. Take note of what items you liked because their menu doesn't include the display case items since it is constantly changing.



To my surprise, besides desserts they also sell small eats like cheese and paninis and have a wide variety of exotic teas that all sound so heavenly. But, on this trip I ignored the small eats menu because that isn't what they are oh so popular for.

So we ordered up things that looked mighty tasty, but my conclusion was this place was not extraordinary. Maybe I hyped it up too much or ordered the wrong items, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the case. This joint reminded me of the countless bakeries in Seoul. Hip, sleek, and amazing presentation of desserts; but once you put the thing in your mouth you discover it was all BS. Ah, what a bummer. The quest continues for extraordinary...

Warm Chocolate Bread Pudding $11.95
Served with chocolate chocolate chip ice cream

Never had a bread pudding like this, it was more cake like which I have no preference for. It was too dry and I thought for it being a chocolate bread pudding it would have oozing melted chocolate throughout. The ice cream was yummy though^^

Chocolate Macadamia Torte $8.50
Very light layers of chocolate sponge cake painted with dark chocolate ganache, whipped cream, myer's rum flavored pastry cream and roasted macadamia nuts

Not bad, but not extraordinary.
