The Taste of Mexico’s event offers food connoisseurs the opportunity to sample entrees from southern California’s finest Mexican restaurants. 2012 promises to be bigger and better with Mexican beer, Baja wines, mezcal, ultra-premium tequilas, live music and over a dozen restaurants offering unlimited samplings. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit The Downtown LA Art Walk.

Highlighted vendors include:The Taste of Mexico Association Founders (which include): La Monarca, Frida Restaurant, Frida Tacos, Casa Azul, Guelaguetza and La Casita Mexicana and other amigos: Playa, Cacao Mexicatessen,  Yuca’s Tacos,  Loteria Grill, Red O, Mexikosher, Coni’Seafood, La Sandia, Candela Taco Bar, Tortas Bravas, Guisados, La Tiendita Mexicana, Nevera Juice Bar, Paqui Tequila, MD Vinos, Viñedos Palafox, Dobel Tequila, Victoria Beer, Casa Dragones (available during VIP hour only), and more!
All-inclusive tickets are are $50. VIP Hour and early admission tickets are available for $70. Pre-sale pricing through 11/29. Limited tickets may be available at the door, if the event is not sold out.

    Great event, but I wish the best Downtown Los Angeles Mexican restaurant, Coronado's on 5th Street, had participated. Their carnitas tacos are ridiculously good.

    Yes, great event indeed! I never tried that restaurant, but now I wished they were there too! Maybe next year? :)
